The Scalextric Challenge
28th - 30th August, The Square, Upper Mall
The Scalextric Challenge in support of Help for Heroes is travelling the country setting up at shopping malls, motorway service areas, high streets, airports, supermarkets and at the Victoria Centre in Nottingham on August Bank Holiday weekend.
How fast will you go?
Be part of the nationwide Scalextric Challenge with the chance to go on a national leaderboard and win a trip to Silverstone and the chance to compete in the Scalextric World Championship!
All monies raised go to Help for Heroes.
* Anyone who would like to have a go at recording a time can do.
* It is £1 per go which is six laps; one practice and five timed.
* The top ten at each venue are posted on The Scalextric Challenge venue 'Hot Laps' board and anyone who breaks 31 seconds will be listed on The Scalextric Challenge online leader board
* The top 32 from the online leader board will be invited to the Challenge final being hosted by the British Racing Drivers' Club at Silverstone in October.
* All finalists win prizes with the winner also going on to compete in the Scalextric World Championships.
